Market advisor says dairy cow culling needed

A market advisor says the U.S. dairy herd is too large.
Jenny Wackershauser with Ever.ag says, “W probably need to get rid of some cows.”
Wackershauser tells Brownfield it will be very hard to bring farmgate milk prices back up without some culling. “We’ve honestly added over 200-thousand cows to the U.S. dairy herd this year. We have the largest herd since 1993. That’s an excessive amount of cows.”
