First Ever Robotic Injection System for your Dairy

Pharm Robotics is an AgTech company on a mission to improve animal health standards and farmers' profitability! The company is currently running an equity crowdfunding campaign (https://wefunder.com/pharmrobotics) for this round of financing and is looking for investments in order to complete their prototype. This is a community effort where you can invest as little as $200 for an equity stake in the company. Pharm Robotics’ campaign has raised more than $90,000 at the time of this publishing. The company expects to be selling to dairy farmers globally starting early 2022.

The company is creating the system, Sureshot, which will be first-to-market in the dairy industry with the intention to expand into other bovine and farm animals. The system will automate the shot delivery process for dairy farmers to deliver various pharmaceuticals (vaccines, reproductive, and vitamins & minerals) to the dairy cows. Then, shot records will automatically be uploaded into the dairy farmer’s current data management system. The system is intended to be placed alongside the exit lane after getting milked so that farmers do not need to significantly change the layout of their dairy nor change the daily routine for the cows themselves.

Both the shot delivery process and data management (recording, uploading, and managing) process is currently done manually by human labor. This is an inefficient part of the dairy operation and causes thousands of farmers headaches throughout the year. Pharm Robotics is automating this process for the market so that farmers will then have more time to attend to other important aspects of their operation as well as require fewer people in their labor force- thus saving them money. Farmer’s could also generate greater revenue from increased preg rates as well as milk yields from a more consistent and manageable shot protocol schedule. Thus, the solution has a significant opportunity to increase farmers’ bottom line.

Additionally, the company has the ability to improve the quality of lives and health for both dairy cows and dairy farmers! Cow’s stress level increase when humans interact with them which is not good for their health nor the milk they produce. Studies have shown that the implementation of robotics, such as robotic milking systems, results in lower stress levels for the cows compared to when humans milk them. We are improving animal health standards as well as compliance within the industry. Moreover, milk traceability will become more transparent for the consumer as our system allows for 100% tracking of what pharmaceuticals are given to which cow and when over the course of their life. Additionally, we have strategic partnerships with the largest dairy cooperative- Dairy Farmers of America (DFA), Siemens, and a SaaS company that manages data for over 60% of the cows in the US.

The company is led and founded by dairy farmers and insiders that understand the industry and problems that dairy farmers face. The CEO, Marinus Dijkstra, is a dairy farmer with over 20 years of experience and is known as one of the most innovative dairymen as well as the man from the Netherlands who can fix nearly anything. Today, he has experience managing dairies with 3,000+ cows where he experiences these common problems that arise from managing shot protocol schedules and finding the consistent labor force to carry out this task.

Pharm Robotics’ solution is a win-win for both the health of dairy cows and dairy farmers.
