Course Summary
This course will focus on practical information for day-to-day management and decision making of forage crops from crop selection to feed out on a dairy farm. Most course topics are applicable to any dairy operation and storage structure, but additional aspects of the course are specific to Northeast U.S. growing conditions and structures. It will be valuable for decision makers and key employees in the cropping and feeding system on the farm.
Format
The Real-Time course includes recorded video lectures, weekly quizzes and homework assignments, weekly live Question & Sessions with the instructors, and participant discussion forums. Course material should be completed as outlined in the course calendar over the 7 weeks of the course.
